Our Latest Worship Service

a message from our pastor

Thank you for visiting Bethlehem United Church of Christ's website! Here at Bethlehem, we encounter the sacred through meaningful worship; a commitment to service and social justice; working against poverty, hunger, and environmental devastation; living in community and mutual care; and engaging in relevant Christian education. On this website you will find an abundance of information about these ministries.

One thing you can not find on paper is the very real spirit of love and acceptance that fills our worship and our common life. We find great joy in the love of God and our shared vision of inclusiveness which brings us together as one people.  In short, you will find Bethlehem UCC to be a caring community of individuals who are excited about sharing God’s love and celebrating all of God’s children.  We believe, preach, and teach: no matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here. As evidence of this commitment, I invite you to review our Covenant of Welcome which is on display in multiple locations around our facility and is on our open and affirming page.

The Welcome Ministry Team and I are delighted to share this information with you and hope it will answer many of your questions. However, if you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me directly by calling the church office at (734) 665-6149, or by email,  I encourage you to explore this website where you can witness the life and ministry of this caring congregation.

God loves us ALL with no take-backs!
